Story (Dumbo):
Introduction (dumbo):
The movie “Dumbo” starts with a flock of storks that deliver babies to animals. There was also an elephant that was waiting for a stork to deliver her a baby but no one came that night and this made her upset. The elephants were taken to a circus through a train.
Storks deliver the babies:
On their way, a stork came to Mrs. Jumbo who was the one waiting for a baby and gave her a baby elephant and she named it Jumbo Junior. He also sang a birthday song for him. He had very big ears as compared to the other elephants, which was the reason that everyone made fun of him. The other animals changed his name from Jumbo Jr. to Dumbo which means fool.
Dumbo’s mocked:
The other elephants that were with them also mocked him but Mrs. Jumbo bore it. When they reached their destination, all the animals started to install the tents for the circus and the baby elephant was also trying to help them. Many people came there to enjoy the circus and a boy made fun of Jumbo Jr. after seeing his large ears and started teasing him, which made his mother furious and she made a chaos there.
Owner locked the Mrs. Jumbo:
Due to her this reaction, the circus owner locks Mrs. Jumbo separately leaving Jumbo Jr. alone. All the other elephants blame him that he was the reason of his mother’s punishment which made him even sadder. They even separate them from their group.
Dumbo meets Timothy:
A rat whose name was timothy, sitting nearby hears all this and feels pity on poor baby. He told him that he will help him in freeing his mother. All the elephants were scared of the mouse so he scared all of them. Timothy told him that there are many people in the world that have big ears, don’t be upset, and do something that will make you famous.
The owner of circus made a pyramid of elephants:
The circus owner came up with an idea that he will stand one elephant on another and 17 elephants together in this way will make a pyramid. Timothy hears all this and made a plan for the climax of this act. At night, when the owner sleeps, timothy told him in his ear that the baby elephant will stand on the top and this will be the climax of this act.
Dumbo as joker in the circus:
The next day, during this act, when dumbo starts running, he falls due to his ears and due to this all the other elephants also fall and all become injured. The tent also ruined which made the owner furious. He after that presents Dumbo as a joker in the circus.
Timothy advised to dumbo:
This breaks the heart of both timothy and dumbo. The mouse advice him to convert his talent into his biggest power which will make him famous. He also took him to meet his mother. He thought that meeting his mother will help him comfort but after meeting his mother, he becomes even sadder. Timothy comforts him and asks him to drink some water from the bucket.
An elephant on tree:
But the bucket water was accidently mixed with some wine which made him drunk. Timothy also drank some and both of them got drunk. The next morning they both found themselves on the top of a tree. This scene was seen by a group of crows and they were surprised to see an elephant on a tree.
Crow helped dumbo to fly:
They also made fun of him after seeing his ears and this made timothy mad at them and he tell them about Dumbo’s past that everyone in the world had turned him down. The crows help him to fly as it was only possible for an elephant to climb this high on a tree if he can fly. They told him that he had the power to fly.
Happy ending:
Dumbo learned there how to fly and after knowing his flying skill, he became very happy. He also shows his unique talent in the circus which amazes everyone and this makes him famous. He also got his mother back. Everyone praised his unique talent and they lived happily ever after.

Crows:
When the crows saw timothy and dumbo on the top of the tree, they made fun of dumbo which made the mouse mad and he tells them about Dumbo’s past. After hearing that they feel pity for dumbo and they wanted to help him. They thought that he could only reach at the top by flying but dumbo was so scared of it. So, they gave him a feather and told him that this will help him fly and due to this mind set he was able to fly. In this way, the crows help him.

Timothy was flying on the bubbles that came out of Dumbo’s mouth when he was drunk.
Life lesson:
- We should not make fun of anyone.
- We should search our abilities not our weakness.
- As Dumbo’s believe in himself bless him the skill to fly. We should also believe in ourselves.
