Story (Kung Fu Panda 2):

Introduction (Kung Fu Panda 2):

This movie Kung Fu panda 2 is connected to its first series part Kung Fu Panda. Po started living in the Jade Palace after Tai Lung and he was enjoying his time with the furious five. Shifu started practicing inner peace and he achieved it that’s why he called Po to show him his achievement. Po was very amused. But suddenly tigress gave them the news that some wolves had attack the village.

Wolf Attack:

They went there to save the villagers but all of a sudden Po saw a mark on the wolf boss’s arm which reminds him a little about his past. As Po was not actually Mr. Ping’s son. He adopted him. The wolves just came to have some metal things that can be molded into Lord Shen’s invention. Lord Shen used to live in Gong man city with his parents and rule over there.

Lord Shen’s History:

The invented fireworks to celebrate but Shen used the black powder that was used in fireworks for destructive inventions. When his parents saw this, they seek advice from Soothsayer who told them that if things continued like this, one day, a black and white warrior will stop him. Hearing this Shen quickly went to the city and with the help of wolves kills all the panda’s. When he returned, his parents banned him from the city.

Master Rhino’s Death:

After his parent’s death, the palace was under the hold of Kung Fu Masters but Shen returned with a canon and killed Master Rhino. When Po and Furious Five got this news they quickly left to revenge him. When they reach Gong man city, they found out that the wolves are all over that place. They sneaked through the city and reached Gong Man jail where Master Ox and croc were present.

Po and Shen’s First Meeting:

But they had already lost hope and refused to help them. Suddenly some wolves captured them and after a little fight took them to the Palace. Shen was so disturbed after hearing that he had seen a Panda as Shen had already killed all of them. When Po reached at the top, He saw Shen but didn’t recognize him as he unaware of the incident that happened in the past.

Shen’s original weapon:

Po destroyed the toy canon in his front but it was not the original one. Shen then used the real one but Po with the help of furious five destroyed it as well. But it was just the start. Po again saw the mark which distracted him and Shen flew away. After that they came to knew that Shen had more of those canons. Shen destroyed the palace using blasts but somehow Po and the furious five were saved.

Po’s distracted:

Tigress asked him why he left him then Po answered that he knew that what happened to his parents. Tigress left him with master Ox and croc and left to destroy Shen’s factory as she didn’t want to see him dying but Po followed them. In the factory, Po fought with Shen and Shen blasted him with the canon and ordered everyone to get ready to move to the harbor.

Po Is alive:

Po was injured but was saved by the Soothsayer. She helped him heal and gain inner peace. She told him everything that happened in the past. After that Po was ready to stop Shen. Po first saved the furious five and together they tried their best to stop Shen but Shen blasted them killing some of his own companions. 

Happy Ending (Kung Fu panda 2):

Po then used his inner peace and faced his every attack and stopped Shen. Everyone was happy to see him back. Master Shifu was surprised to see Po’s inner peace.

Character Profile (Kung Fu Panda 2):

Mr. Ping:

Mr. Ping owns a noodle restaurant. He is Po’s adoptive father. Ping got Po as a child in a radish basket outside his house. He searched but when he found no one outside he adopted Po as his own child. He never used harsh language to speak to Po. Even you can saw in the movie Kung Fu Panda 2 when he came to know about Po’s leaving, he was so upset.

Villain’s Profile (Kung Fu Panda 2):

Lord Shen:

Lord Shen is a peacock. His parents invented fireworks to celebrate happiness but lord Shen used the same ingredient for destruction. Seeing darkness in his eyes, they seek advice and Soothsayer told them about his fate. Shen overheard them and did the worse to change it. His parents banned him from coming in the city and when they died, he came back to rule over entire China.

Did You Notice?

Fireworks were invented long time ago and Shen used those fireworks for destructive inventions. He kill a lot of Panda’s to change his fate but none of the Kung Fu Warriors arrived to help.

Life Lessons (Kung Fu Panda 2):

• Never judge a book by its cover.
• Don’t let your past haunt you and destroy your inner peace.
• Truth reveals itself one day no matter how long it takes.
• Fight till end, never lose hope and try your best.

Question for You:

As you saw in the movie, Po released Lord Shen in the end and forgave him even when he knew Lord Shen is the killer of his entire family. If you were in his place, what would you do?
