Story (Madagascar):

Introduction (Madagascar):

The movie “Madagascar” is about a journey of some animals that live in the zoo but due to some reasons they reached the jungles of “Madagascar” and there they have to live for a while. The movie begins with Marty a zebra who was having a dream of his freedom while seeing a painting in the zoo.

Alex “The king of New York”:

Suddenly his lion friend named “Alex” interrupts in his dream as it was a holiday and it was almost time for people to come in the zoo and they had to present different acts in front of them. Alex was a very famous animal in the city and most of the people visit zoo just to see him and Alex also enjoys his fame. Zoo shops also have different items which have pictures of him on them.

Penguin’s plan to escape:

As the children came, every animal in the zoo starts acting different tricks to amaze them but the penguins were just acting the whole time. Their main focus was to find a way to leave this place as they thought that they do not belong here and they had to go back to Antarctica. They were also digging a hole in their area secretly but when they go through it, they ended in Marty’s fence.

Marty know Penguin’s secret:

Marty was surprised to see them and when they told about their secret, he wanted his freedom as well. He asked them the way to go to the forest. It was Marty’s tenth birthday and his friends celebrated his birthday and cheered him up but he still wanted to enjoy the wild so he escapes at night so that he will visit Connecticut and return in the day.

Grand Central Terminal:

But when he was on his way to the Grant Central terminal, his friends found out him missing and followed him to convince him to return back to the zoo and they caught him on the terminal, where they were surrounded by the police officers and animal controller. They were brought back to the zoo but due to the protest that the animals should be returned to their environment, the zoo authority was forced to return to the wild reserve in Kenya.

Ship Journey:

They were sent back through ships but the Penguins escaped from their crate and hijacked the ship. After that, when Alex, Gloria, Melman and Marty realize that they were being shifted somewhere else than the zoo, they created a chaos and fell from the ship.

Madagascar:

They all reach an exotic island nearby named “Madagascar” where Marty was very happy as he was able to enjoy the wild life and soon Gloria and Melman also joined him. But Alex still misses his fame and zoo life so he was angry. After sometime, he also joins them.

Fossa Attack Lemur:

When they enter the forest, they found the Lemur community which was under attack of Fossa but due to Alex’s roar they were saved so King Julien wanted Alex to be with them. His partner advised him to stay away from Alex due to his appearance but he ignored.

Alex getting wild:

Soon Alex missed the raw steak and tried to kill Marty but when he realized that he was dangerous for his friends, he willingly went to the predator side. the penguins when found out that Antarctica is not for them, they travelled to Madagascar and there seeing a ship coming there, Marty risked his life for his best friend and went to the predator side to call Alex but he was attacked by Fossa.

The End (Madagascar):

At first, his other friends came to save him but after Alex came and helped them all. Penguins serve Alex Sushi which he found tastier then stake and they all wanted to enjoy more by travelling to different places on the ship. The penguins hid that the ship was soon going to be out of fuel.

Character Profile (Madagascar):

Marty:

Marty is the friend of Alex in the movie and always wish for his freedom and dreams of it. When he got a chance to enjoy his freedom, he didn’t miss it and avail it alone. He wanted his friends to go with him but as they were happy there so he accepted there point of view and didn’t force them. He even risked his own life when Alex got wild in the Madagascar and went back to save him so that they could go back together.

Villain’s Profile (Madagascar):

There is no specific villain in the movie but Alex plays a little role like a villain as he always himself over everyone even his friends. He considers Marty his best friend but he ignores his biggest wish to survive freely in forest just for his fame. He even got wild and tried to eat his friends when he didn’t get his food (meat). But he soon realizes everything and sets everything right.

Alex’s eye color was change (blue) when he got wild and change when he returned to normal.

Life Lessons (Madagascar):

• Live your life freely.
• Greed is a bad thing even it is of money or praise.
• Don’t ignore your freedom because of your greed.
• Try hard until you succeed.
• Freedom is a blessing for those who have it and a dream for those who don’t have it.
