Story (The Little Mermaid):
Introduction (The Little Mermaid):
This movie “The Little Mermaid “is related to a mermaid love story. In the kingdom of Atlantica, under the ocean there was a beautiful world. This is the place from where the story of mermaid starts. This story is about King Triton’s daughter whose name was Ariel and she was unhappy with her life.
Mermaid made a spoon:
She finds man made things in the ocean like spoon and thought that how wonderful would be the place where things like these are made? She was impressed from human life. On her birthday, she went to the surface of the ocean because it was their tradition that when a mermaid turned 15, they were allowed to go to the ocean surface and see human.
Mermaid saw ship wrecking:
When she went there, she saw a ship wrecking due to bad weather and a human is drowning in the ocean. If she didn’t help him, he will lose his life. So, she helped him and left him on the shore. She also sang him a song. That boy was prince and his name was Eric. Both Eric and Ariel think of each other.
Mermaid thinks about prince:
The mermaid thinks of him and thinks to ask for an advice from the magical fish. Her friend Sebastian and other tries to explain that the world above the ocean is not good for them and that they should stay away from the human. They caught fish. She didn’t accept their words. When her father came to knew about this he tries to explain her and destroy her human things collection.
Ariel and Ursula meeting:
There was also a sea witch name Ursula who was very bad. Her jetsam convinced Ariel and took her to Ursula. Ariel told Ursula her story and she said that she had to be a human to go to the human world. The mermaid asked that how can she made her a human.
Ariel loosed his voice:
So she replied that it is her work to help poor mermaids like you. She asked her to change her into a human in return of her voice with her magic. Ariel agrees and she do what she wanted. Ariel got legs but Ursula told her that if she had to find her true love in three days. If she does so, she will stay human forever and if she could not do so she will turn back to a mermaid.
Ariel reached on land:
Ariel came to the land with her friends (Scuttle, Flounder and Sebastian). The Prince also came to the beach with his dog to search for the girl who had saved him. He also wanted to hear the song because that voice was so beautiful. When he saw Ariel he ask her for her name but Ariel was unable to answer as she had lost her voice.
Ariel met with prince:
The Prince took her to his palace and they both became friends. She live there happily but his friend Sebastian’s live came in danger as the chef in the palace marinates him to cook but he ran away. Ariel and Prince’s friendship changes into love but Ursula ruined everything. She changed herself into a beautiful girl and sang a song in Ariel’s voice.
Ursula hypnotized to prince:
The Prince recognized her voice. She hypnotized the Prince through which the prince got attracted to her and completely forgot Ariel. They were also about to get marry. But when Ariel’s friend Scuttle came to know that she is Ursula, he told this to Ariel. Ariel had to reveal her secret and she had to do it before the sun sets.
Happy ending(The Little Mermaid):
All her friends help her. When they were about to get marry, Ariel’s friends attack her breaking her shell and all the magic disappear. Ursula ran and took Ariel with her. The prince saved Ariel. During this, Ursula’s Jetsam died and she grew bigger in size. Prince confronts her and killed her. Ariel’s father change Ariel into human and they both get married and they live a happy live together.

Scuttle:
Scuttle was an ocean bird and Ariel’s friend. He was always with Ariel even in Ocean an on land. When the chef in the palace was about to cook him, he was almost killed but he cared for nothing and stayed with Ariel till the end.

Ursula:
The villain in the movie is Ursula. She misguides Ariel by telling her things that Ariel wanted. By this, she changes her into a human and took her voice in return for that. When Ariel was about to get her true love, she stole him from her.
Did you Notice!
There is a scene in the movie where Ariel had a statue of the Prince. Where is came from and who brought it there? Also Ariel’s father destroys everything and we can see fire. How is it possible to set fire in the ocean?
Life Lessons(The Little Mermaid):
