Story (The Secret World of Arrietty ):
Introduction (The Secret World of Arrietty ):
The movie “The secret world of Arrietty” is about a boy named Sho who came to live with his grandmother for some time. When he came to his grandmother’s house, he saw a little girl there who quickly hides from him.
Borrower people:
She went under a place. Her house was in the garbage and her name was Arrietty. She lived with her parents. These people took little things that didn’t matter anyone. These people were called Borrowers. We also see Arrietty’s father whose name was Pod.
Arrietty told the incident:
He came back from his mission. He tells his family that a new buy had came there to live. Arrietty also tell them today’s incident. Then her father asked her to get prepared as she was ready for her first borrower mission.
Arrietty’s first mission:
Arrietty was very happy to hear that. Both of them put some things in their bags and went with a pulley in a lab. Arrietty saw outside through a hole where people were eating food. When everyone fell asleep, she and her father went into the Kitchen where she saw giant furniture and was very amazed to see them.
Arrietty saw a doll house:
They took a sugar cube from the sugar pot. Arrietty also took a pin which she kept with her as a sword. When they were leaving, they saw a doll house that had all the things of their size.
A big guy saw Arrietty:
When they passed by the tissue box, Sho saw Arrietty and her sugar cube felt from her hand. Sho told her that he had seen her in the morning and his mother also told him that small people live there but Arrietty didn’t reply and leave.
Sho gave Arrietty a sugar cube:
Arrietty say sorry to her father and her father told her that they had to be careful now. When they reach home, the little girl couldn’t sleep so she went outside to play where she saw Sho putting a sugar cube and a note for her.
Sho‘s note for Arrietty:
She quickly ran from there after seeing that. She thought that it could be a trap. When she came back after a while, she saw ants eating the sugar cube. She took that cube and the note on which it was written that “You forgot something”.
Arrietty’s parent stops borrowing:
Her parents told her that they should leave that place and stop borrowing for some time. Arrietty came back to return the note and the cube to the boy. She also told him to leave her and her family alone.
A crow attacked Arrietty:
A crow came there but Sho saved her. His maid Haru also came there hearing the crow’s voice. Sho hold her in his hand to keep her safe but Arrietty ran from there.
Sho save Arrietty’s life:
On the other side, Haru was doubtful that small people also live there so she asked a delivery man to give her the number of the pest controllers so he gave her the number.
Sho’s heart problem (The Secret World of Arrietty ):
At night, they came to know that Sho had a heart problem and he was going to have an operation after some time. Sho asked her grandmother about the doll house and she replied that his grandfather thought that small people live there so he made a doll house for them but a long time passed and no one came there to live.
Arrietty’ father injured:
On the other side, Arrietty’ father got injured while borrowing so a boy came there to drop him home. Sho changed their kitchen and replaced it with a very beautiful kitchen by removing their rooftop but Arrietty and her parents were preparing to leave.
Arrietty went to meet Sho (The Secret World of Arrietty ):
Arrietty went to meet Sho to say good bye. Sho told her that she was the most beautiful girl of the world and he wanted to help her. He also told her about his medical condition and says sorry as he thought they were leaving because of him.
Haru saw Arrietty’s house:
On the other side, when Haru was cleaning the house, she went to put the clothes in the closet where she saw a hole and saw a doll house. She also saw Arrietty’s mom from there.
Haru caught Arrietty’s mom:
Haru caught Arrietty’s mom and locked her in a jar and called the pest controllers. When Arrietty heard her mother’s voice, she came to see her but she was missing. Arrietty then asked Sho to help.
Sho release her mother:
Sho somehow knew that place where Arrietty’s mother was kept. He told her the location and asks her to release her mother. Arrietty quickly released her mother and ran away. When pest controllers came there, they saw the jar empty.
Happy ending (The Secret World of Arrietty ):
Haru told her owner that she had seen the small people. Sho told her grandmother that they are good guys. Arrietty on the other side had left that place and stayed at a place. A cat helped Sho to get to Arrietty and said her Good Bye and that’s how the story ends.

Sho was a very good boy. He become very happy after seeing Arrietty and when she lost her sugar cube, he helped her get it back. He also helped her get his mother back when Haru caught her mother and locked her in a jar.

When Haru came to know about Arrietty and his family, he tried to catch them. He caught his mother and locked her in a jar. He thought that Arrietty and his family were dangerous for the man kind so he called the pest controllers.
Did you Notice!
When pod got injured, a boy came to drop him home. He was short like them but when he went back, he went by flying.
